Community Partners - Law Enforcement
Through the use of naloxone, opioid overdose is reversible. Law enforcement officers are often the first emergency responders to arrive at an overdose, but are not typically equipped with naloxone.
One of SCCOOPP’s goals is to increase emergency access to naloxone in the community. To date, we have conducted over 15 trainings sessions for the probation department, county court staff, and several county police departments.
