About Us
Our vision is to prevent or reduce substance use among youth and adults by providing an array of age-appropriate, culturally fit and researched-based services in the community. Services focus on reducing risk factors and strengthening the resilience and protective factors that build healthy communities.
Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Substance Use Prevention Services provides primary prevention services. Primary prevention is before the onset of use, and services consists of Education, Information Dissemination, Alternative Activities, Community-Based Process and Environmental Process.
