Workforce Development

Department supports the on-going opportunities that promote and enhance workforce development partnerships, trainings, and employment expansion that focuses on the implementation of prevention best practices. Prevention practice takes place across a wide range of professions and levels of education. Many professions appear to be positioned to offer training in prevention as part of their curricula and are developing competencies associated with this scope of practice.

Competency Courses 

•  Our department is offering a series of 5 foundational courses designed for Prevention service providers, in which all participants will receive a certificate for prevention competency.
